Start-up and transition
Phased so the ranch is safe before it is busy, and busy before it is finished.
Transition begins the day terms are agreed: cleanup, debris removal, and a full safety inspection of fencing, water, electrical, and structures. Nothing is boarded until the areas being used are genuinely safe.
Repairs then run in sequence rather than all at once, so each finished section is put to work immediately. Early revenue from those first stalls funds the next phase of construction.
Public programming opens once the core facility is stable: lessons and trail rides first, then field trips, the petting zoo, and community events as the public areas are completed.
Phase 1 · Make it safe
Cleanup, debris removal, safety inspection, fencing, water, drainage, and electrical repair.
Phase 2 · Make it work
Stall restoration, shade and fly control, wash racks, tack rooms, restrooms, and first boarders.
Phase 3 · Make it public
Arena and round pen finishing, turn-outs, petting zoo, ADA pathways, the full program schedule, school partnerships, and the Day of the Horse hosted on site.
